Grazzini, Greg

Greg Grazzini

President & CEO / Senior Project Manager


Greg is part of the 4th generation and joined Grazzini Brothers & Company full-time in 1986 and currently serves as President and CEO. Greg rose through the ranks beginning as a Field Worker, Estimator, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Vice President of Terrazzo Operations. He has been active in the National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association (NTMA), St. Paul Builders Exchange, and Associated General Contractors of Minnesota, American Society of Professional Estimators-Viking Chapter, and Associated General Contractors of Alaska, a Trustee of the Apprenticeship Training Fund of International Brotherhood of Bricklayers, Allied Craftworkers, Minnesota and North Dakota, and International Masonry Institute Minnesota Program Committee.

Greg decided to join the family business after starting his university education to be a certified public accountant. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in business.

During Greg’s free time, he enjoys hunting/shooting and is an active member of Ducks Unlimited, Safari Club International – Minnesota Chapter, and Traverse County Sportsman’s Club. He is a competitive sporting clays shooter and coach of the Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School Clay Target Team.

Grazzini, Allen

Allen Grazzini

Vice President / Senior Project Manager


Allen is part of the 3rd generation who started working at Grazzini Brothers & Company summers in 1969. In August of 1978, he started full-time as a Warehouse Worker, Warehouse Foreman, Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, Estimator. For 8 years, Allen managed the wholesale tile distribution division of Grazzini Brothers until it was purchased by a major manufacture at which time he rejoined the contracting side of the company. Allen currently is a Senior Project Manager in the Tile Division and Vice President of Soft Flooring Operations. He is also the Corporate Secretary and Board Member. He has been active in the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota, served as President of the American Society of Professional Estimators Viking Chapter, and is a Past Board Member of the Tile Contractors Association of America.

After graduating High School in 1974, Allen joined the Navy and served 3 years active duty on the USS John Marshall, a Ballistic Missile carrying Submarine, when not stationed in Pearl Harbor and Guam. He also served two years in the Navy reserve. Allen completed two years of business school at the National College of Business.

Allen has been married to his wife Kathy for 29 years and has three sons. He was active with the Boy Scouts serving as Cub Master and Scout Master while his sons moved through the stages of scouting. He is an active member and past President of the Minnesota Rotary Club – Lakeville Chapter, is a member of the Minneapolis Jaycees and Minnesota Chamber of Commerce – Lakeville Chapter. He is also a part owner and Board Member of Lakeview Bank in Lakeville, Minnesota. Allen enjoys fishing and is an avid golfer.

Gliori, Guido

Guido Gliori

Chief Operations Officer / Senior Project Manager


Guido started at Grazzini Brothers & Company in 1981 as a Field Supervisor and moved through the ranks as a Project Manager then Senior Project Manager. Guido currently serves as Chief Operations Officer and Board Member. Guido has been active in the Marble Institute of America, serving as President in 2009, Minnesota Construction Association, and Minnesota Concrete and Masonry Contractors Association.

Guido is a native of Chicago, Illinois. He has a major in architecture.

During Guido’s free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing and skiing. He is a Life Member of Safari Club International – Minnesota Chapter.

Byrne, Jim

Jim Byrne

Chief Financial Officer


Jim currently is the Chief Financial Officer at Grazzini Brothers.  Jim’s career at Grazzini Brothers started in 1984. He began as the Warehouse Manager, followed by Project Manager, Controller and his current position as Chief Financial Officer. He is a Shareholder, Board Member of Grazzini Brothers and serves as a Trustee to Grazzini Brothers' Profit Sharing Plan.

Jim graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting in 1984.

Jim has been married to his wife Leslie and they have two children. In their free time Jim and his family enjoy traveling, exercising, and visiting family and friends. Jim also serves on the boards of the National MS Society as well as North Memoiral Medical Center, where he is vice chair of the Foundation board. 

Grazzini, Gene

Gene Grazzini

Chief Contracting Officer / Chairman of the Board


Gene’s career in the construction industry began over 50 years ago. He has dedicated his entire career to the tile, terrazzo and stone industry. In the early 60’s he began working as the third generation in his families’ business, where Gene started at the bottom, as a laborer, warehouse man, estimator, project manager, and worked his way to vice president, president, and CEO. Gene now serves as the Chairman of the Board and is a Shareholder. Over the years, Gene has been President of the Minnesota Ceramic Tile Contractors Association, President of the Minneapolis Builders Exchange, and National Director of the AGC of America.

Gene joined the family business after serving our country for three years while in the Navy.

Gene enjoys spending time with his family and friends, gardening, hunting and fishing. Gene served as Minnesota Chairman for Ducks Unlimited and he is an active member of Safari Club International – Minnesota Chapter.

Byrne, Raymond

Raymond Byrne

Vice President of Finance


Ray has worked for Grazzini Brothers & Company for over 58 years. In 1959 Ray started his career at Grazzini Brothers as a bookkeeper. Over the years Ray has served as a Project Manager, Controller, and Chief Financial Officer for 20 years. Ray has served as Trustee for the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Health and Welfare Fund, and the Retirement and Pension Fund of Minnesota and North Dakota. He is a Past President of Tile Contractors' Association of America (TCAA) and Past President of the St. Paul Builders Exchange. He has also served as Secretary/Treasurer of the Minnesota Ceramic Tile Association. Ray was the 2007 Recipient of the Carl V. Cesery Memorial Award presented by the Tile Contractors Association of America.  In 2016 Ray received the Tile Contractors’ Association of America’s (TCAA) Giacomo DeLazzero Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ray spent three years in the US Army - Combat Engineers Division. He graduated from Minnesota School of Business in 1959 and immediately went to work at Grazzini Brothers.

Ray was happily married to his wife Veronica for over 56 years prior to her passing in 2017. They have five children and 10 grandchildren. Ray enjoys spending time at his lake cabin near Pine City, Minnesota. He likes puttering, remodeling work at the cabin, fishing and golfing.

Drosky, Darrin

Darrin Drosky



Darrin Drosky is the Controller at Grazzini Brothers & Company where he has been coordinating functions for the payroll, HR and finance department since December 2012. He serves at Grazzini Brothers as the Secretary of the Board, a Shareholder, and a member of the Executive Committee, as well as a Trustee on the company’s profit sharing plan.

Prior to working at Grazzini Brothers, Darrin dedicated over twenty years managing the operations and administration for over 15,000 multiemployer pension and health fund participants. He has shared his expertise at employee and workplace educational efforts across the country and served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Twin City Area Labor Management Council, a Management Co-Chair for the Labor/Management Health Care Coalition of the Upper Midwest, and is currently appointed as an Employer Trustee on the Minnesota and North Dakota Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Health Fund, in addition to the Minnesota Ceramic Tile and Allied Trades Retirement Fund.

Darrin enjoys spending his free time cycling, reading, and challenging his wife, Debbie, with Fitbit step goals.
